2013 Energy Tax Credits
Beginning January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2013, replace your home’s old windows and doors with ENERGY STAR® qualified Pella® products and you may qualify for a tax credit of up to $500 on your 2012 or 2013 federal income tax return. The "American Tax Payer Relief Act of 2012" gives homeowners the ability to receive 10% up to $200 for windows and 10% up to $500 for doors. A $500 lifetime credit is available. 1. Buy
Purchase an ENERGY STAR qualified Pella window or door.
Qualifying Products
2. Install
Install your qualified Pella window or door in your principal residence after January 1, 2012, and before December 31, 2013.
3. Keep
Retain the NFRC label from each product along with the sales receipt. Use these when you prepare your taxes.
4. Download
Download a Pella Manufacturer's Certification Statement for your records.
