Barry Schoening

Barry Schoening is the General Manager at Pella Windows & Doors of Detroit. Previously the general manager at Pella Windows & Doors of Wisconsin, Barry has brought his proven track record of knowing how to effectively lead a team and his in-depth understanding of Pella's products and processes to the Detroit branch.

While Barry is a seasoned Pella professional, his passion for and expertise in customer service and sales was ignited far before joining the Pella team. Barry started his career with Algoma Hardwoods in the spring of 2001, where he held various roles in accounting, product management, and sales. In 2004, Barry became the Inside Sales Manager for Eggers Industries and led a team of customer service and sales professionals to new heights during this time. In 2007, Barry took on the position of Regional Sales Manager for the company's Plywood Division. His responsibilities were to profitably grow the division’s sales through account development across the United States, which he did through his authentic care and dedication to his customers and team.

Barry joined the Pella team as a Commercial Sales Manager in 2016, where he earned the Director’s Achievement Award from Pella Corporation for outstanding leadership. Shortly after a year in that role, he was promoted to Commercial & Trade Sales Manager. Then, Barry accepted the General Manager position at Pella Windows & Doors of Wisconsin later in 2017, where he managed a team of more than 12 Pella trade and commercial sales representatives and consultants, helping them reach their sales goals through his dedication, mentoring, and support. Barry won the Pella Corporation's Director’s Achievement Award again in 2021 for the trade segment and is excited to support Pella of Detroit's team and customers.
