Doug Phelps

Doug is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer at Pella of WYIDAHO, serving southern Idaho and western Wyoming since May 2023, after a distinguished 21-year career with Pella Corporation. With extensive experience in sales and marketing at Pella, Doug has led numerous customer-support and sales-promotion programs through the nationwide network of local Pella distributors. He is passionate about leadership, family and fostering a winning culture. 

Before joining Pella, Doug worked for a decade at a multi-national chemical company based in Frankfurt, Germany. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA in marketing and finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. 

Doug and his wife Pam, married for 30 years, have relocated to Boise and are eager to enjoy the outdoor activities in “Trails West.”
