In beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona lies this sprawling home that embodies indoor-outdoor living. When looking for a place to build, these homeowners fell in love with the beauty and tranquility of this lot. They dreamed of a modern home that would blur the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces. The builder, A Finer Touch (AFT) Construction, knew how crucial windows and doors would be to achieving this goal. AFT turned to our team at Pella of Arizona to deliver custom windows and doors for this project.

Pass Through Corner Window Embraces Indoor-Outdoor Entertaining

Stepping into this home, you’re immediately greeted by a sense of openness and connectivity to the outdoors. A focal point of the kitchen is a corner pass through window that bridges the interior wet bar to the outdoor countertop. Bifold windows feature multiple glass panels that fold open like an accordion. This unique feature allows for seamless entertaining as guests gather around enjoying poolside refreshments. With swinging chairs surrounding the outdoor counter, this is a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Corner Multi-Slide Door Creates Seamless Transition

Further connecting the indoor and outdoor spaces is a corner multi-slide patio door between the living room and pool patio. The large glass panels part at the corner and easily slide open, tucking away out of sight into wall pockets. When open, it truly feels like the two walls disappear completely. During pool parties, guests can fluidly transition between the indoor and outdoor living spaces. This enhances the overall sense of spaciousness and flow throughout the home.

Clerestory Windows Elevate Home Design

Adding to the home's architectural interest are clerestory windows placed in the bathroom, foyer and living areas. These are window placed high on the wall to allow an abundance of natural light to filter into the rooms. Especially in Arizona’s sunny climate, these windows help create a bright and airy ambiance throughout the home. They also draw your eye upwards, accentuating the high ceilings to make the space feel larger.

From the corner pass-through window and multi-slide patio door by the pool to the highly placed clerestory windows, every detail is meticulously designed to enhance the aesthetic and functionality of this home. In this luxury property, indoor comfort seamlessly merges with the outdoor beauty of the surrounding desert landscape.
