Perfect for hard-to-reach places, these windows are hinged at the side and open with the turn of an easy-to-use fold-away crank.         Solid-color frames feature White, Almond or Fossil color on both the interior and exterior. Dual-color frames have White on the interior with Brown or Black on the exterior.

                    • Full-frame profile with edge detailing.
                    • Our precision welding process helps prevent warping and twisting over time like ordinary vinyl can – helping eliminate "vinyl smile."

                    • Multi-chambered, fully-welded sash and frame improve strength and thermal performance and reduce sound transmission.

                        Pella 250 Series Casement Window Specs & Install Details

                        • Multichambered frame and fully welded sashes improve strength and thermal performance
                        • Performance class and grade LC35-LC50 and STC of 30-33 for dual pane windows and 34 for triple-pane windows
                        • Available in sizes from 14-1/2" x 17-1/2” to 35-1/2” x 71-1/2”
                        • Low-maintenance, easy-care vinyl frames mean no more painting, staining or refinishing
                        • Installation options include Block Frame, Integral Fin, Fin with J-Channel11, Flush Flange10, 5/8" Flange Frame11
                        Frame
                        • Overall frame depth: 3-1/4" on all frame types.
                        • Frame members are mitered and heat fused to provide a fully welded corner assembly. Sill is fitted with weeps. 
                        • Frame: 1-1/8" setback nail fin for 2-1/8" wall depth; Block frame for 3-1/4" wall depth; Integral 5/8" flange for 3" wall depth
                        Sash
                        • Sash members are extruded, rigid PVC, and are mitered and heat-fused to provide a fully welded corner assembly.
                        • Contains sealed insulating glass.
                        Weatherstripping

                        Vent units include weatherstripping around the sash perimeter with a fintype, pile and an extruded bulb weatherstrip.

                        Glazing System
                        • Quality float glass complying with ASTM C 1036.
                        • Exterior face-glazed sealed insulating glass.
                        • Dual-Pane insulating glass or 1" Triple-Pane
                        Hardware
                        • Multi-point unison lock with single handle is factory-installed zinc die cast. Lock tie-bars are stainless steel.
                        • Optional limited opening hardware available for vent units in extruded vinyl to match the unit; nominal 3" opening.
                        • Optional factory applied window opening control device. Device allows window to open less than 4” with normal operation, with a release mechanism that allows the sash to open completely. Complies with ASTM F2090-17.
                        Insect Screens
                        • Set in aluminum frame and fitted to interior of window.
                        • Conventional Black Fiberglass
                        • Black vinyl coated 18/16 mesh fiberglass screen cloth complying with ASTM D 3656 and SMA 1201.
